Lupita Nyong’o: heroine of the next Stars Wars? Her dream continues…

It is very serious; it was The Hollywood Reporter who just said it. The actress Lupita Nyong’o, who was recently Oscar-winner of the best feminine hope for her role in 12 Years a Slave, should join the casting of the seventh section of “star Wars'” that will be produced by J.J. Abrams.

The latter would have decided to give her the female lead. Other sources specifed that she would embody the descendant of Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Lupita Nyong’o est née en 1983 à Mexico mais de parents Kenyans. Elle a été élevée principalement au Kenya. Son père était l’ancien ministre kenyan des Services médicaux. Il a été élu en 2013 pour représenter le comté de Kisumu  au Sénat . Il détient un doctorat en science politique de l’ Université de Chicago et il a enseigné au Mexique et en Ethiopie avant de prendre un poste à l’ Université de Nairobi où il est professeur de science politique. Son oncle était le pathologiste kenyan célèbre Aggrey Nyong’o, qui est mort dans un mystérieux accident de voiture en 2002 après avoir été impliqué dans la mort de John Anthony Kaiser . Son cousin Isis Nyong’o a été nommée l’une des femmes les plus puissantes de l’Afrique par le magazine Forbes en 2012.

Lupita Nyong’o was born in 1983 in Mexico but of Kenyan parents. She was mainly raised in Kenya. Her father was the former Kenyan minister of Medical services. He was elected in 2013 to represent the county of Kisumu at the Senate. He has a doctorate in political sciences of the University of Chicago and he taught in Mexico and in Ethiopia before taking a post at the University of Nairobi where he is teaching political sciences. His uncle was the famous Kenyan pathologist Aggrey Nyong’o, who died in a mysterious car accident in 2002 having been involved in the death of John Anthony Kaiser. His cousin Isis Nyong’o was appointed as one of the most powerful women of Africa by Forbes magazine in 2012.

Lupita Nyong’o followed her university studies of cinema in the United States. In 2008, she got a great success in her country with the television series “Kenya Shuga” before being impressive at Hollywood as actress.
