The Senegalese stylist Adama Paris has just launched Fashion Africa TV, a channel which programs has been broadcast in Senegal since last April.
According to the stylist, the idea is that her television works as a blog with the ambition “to display the African fashion to the public”.
“We have started broadcasting in Senegal since last April. We simply show a fashion made in Africa. The African fashion made by us and seen by us”, declared Adama Paris, clarifying that 70 % of the airtime on Fashion Africa TV concerns fashion shows and catwalks of various fashion-weeks of Africa and the Diaspora.
“The purpose is to really show what Africans make here and elsewhere. Later, there will be programs as Celebrity Closet that open the doors for stars’ wardrobes to the public, the portraits of models that are trendy and (that are) filmed during their work, Fashion News“, clarified Adama Paris, founder of Dakar Fashion Week.
