The Ivory Coast group, Magic System is making its contribution to the reconciliation policy started by the president of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara. According to A’salfo, the vocal leader of the group, “Africainement Vôtre“, the seventh and the very last album on the “Magicians” will be used as a federation instrument for the sons and daughters of the country during the next tours of the group.
The Magic System group launched a new challenge. The Ivory Coast group intends to strengthen its actions in favor of reconciliation in Ivory Coast after more than a decade of crisis. On the coming 30th November, a huge concert is planned in Abidjan, the Ivory Coast capital town in order to convey peace message to people. “It is not a dream … I deeply believe in reconciliation“, indicated A’Salfo.
The Magic System group was created since 1997. It is composed of A’salfo, Manadja, Tino and Goudé Fadou mata. On 19th May, the group brought out “Africainement Vôtre“, their seventh album. The “Magicians” stayed in their logic. The group tells the Africans everyday life with a particular emphasis on hope. On this new album, we notice two featurings with Ahmed Chawki and Ayna.
A’salfo was appointed goodwill ambassador for Unesco in 2012. He placed the last edition of Femua (Festival for Urban Musics of Anoumabo) for which he is the promoter, under the sign of the “Peace and social cohesion“.
