She is one of actresses of African cinema that distances herself for her large size (1,80 m) in Ghollywood as well as in Nollywood. The Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson makes dream a lot of girls to make a career in cinema.
The star of cinema just brought out a new movie titled: “Single, Married & Complicated“. The movie was launched last 15th September at Silverbird Cinemas in Accra, Ghana.
Beautiful, talented and businesswoman, all that her hands touch except projectors turns into gold. And on stage, all the roles she plays fit her well as gloves.
The only trouble is her physical complexion.
In fact, the actress has been for some time in the center of a whirl of critic related ther skin which, during her first appearances on screens, was of ebony color. But which, over years, underwent deep changes. From black, it changes into white.
Hence, she is suspected of whitening her skin. Assertions rejected by the actress.
“Do I look like anybody who whitens her skin? People should know that pictures we publish on social networks or on TV are touched. I did not whiten my skin and I do not intend to do it“, answered Yvonne Nelson to her detractors.
The actress is besides an enthusiast of fashion. She opened in Accra a clothing store and also offers services specialized in haircare. All that she wears in her movies, she supplies them to her shop.
