The cream of the African music is mobilized in order to make special the edition 2015 of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2015) that will start on 17th January in Equatorial Guinea. Molar from Ivory Coast, Wizboy from Nigeria, Singuila from Congo, Fally Ipupa from DRC, Eddy from Uganda, Mani Bella from Cameroon and Arielle T. from Gabon will interpret the song “Hola Hola” wrote by the Toofan group of Togo.
“When talking about football, it necessary means joy. Football time for us is intense moments of enjoyment. Africa feels united, Africa speaks the same language and Africa is happy“, declared Masta Just of the Toofan group on Africa 24 channel.
Beyond the festivity side of the event, the collaboration of these artists of various nationalities constitutes an example for the continent. “People outside Africa often think that we are not united. It is not even true. You will see in this organization, artists coming from all countries. I am Gabonese but I feel much more African. I am going to bring my colors, my voice, all that I can do the best“, added the Gabonese, Arielle T.
In order to honor the host country, the Guinean artist, Cano, is invited to work on the project. “Music is a means on union, no matter the origin of each; Cameroonian or Nigerian, we are all united and we are all brothers. When people see that we sing the same song, it shows to the whole world that Africa is united“, specified the artist.
