World Happiness Report: Find out the happiest countries of Africa

Jeffrey D. Sachs, the manager of the Earth Institute, has just published his third world report happiness in association with John Helliwell and Richard Layard. The study concerns 158 countries all in all.

Generosity, reliable level in the authorities, per capita income, health, social services, respect for liberties are among others the criteria of the poll carried out over the period going from 2012 to 2014. Libya takes the lead of the African ranking followed by Algeria. Togo is ranked last and is considered as the saddest country of Africa.

As a reminder, Jeffrey D. Sachs, the manager of the Earth Institute is also a writer, special adviser at the UNO and a teacher at the Columbia University.
