15th OIF Summit: Michel Gohou in Dakar to promote Abidjan

Ivory Coast will welcome the 8th edition of the International Organization of the Francophony (OIF) Games in 2017.

The artist-comedian, Michel Gohou (photo with orange cap), who is one of the ambassadors for this 8th edition of these meetings, will land in Senegal on Saturday, 29th November within the framework of the 15th summit of the Organization.

He will be a part of the National Committee for the Francophony Games (CNJF) delegation led by its managing director, Epiphane Zoro Bi.

In association with the Chamber of commerce and industry of Ivory Coast (CCI-CI), CNJF will open on this occasion an institutional stand the presentation of which will be assured by Gohou.

Through his presentations, Gohou Michel will take care of « promoting and to assuring the marketing of the next edition » of the Francophony games planned from 21st to 30th July 2017 in Abidjan.

It is a meeting for the French-speaking community. The activities are going to deal with sport, culture but also with other development activities.

Ivory Coast bases itself on the fact that the Francophony games concern 77 member States and Governments of OIF, what constitutes a target population of 220 million people on the five (5) continents.

This summit of Dakar thus stands almost as a must in order to promote Abidjan.

The Ivorian authorities intend through these games to promote among others, peace and development, bring closer the French-speaking countries, favor equality of genres.
