TechCamp: the first edition in Mozambique

Mozambicans attended to a major event on last 5th and 6th June in Maputo. It was the first edition of the TechCamp meeting in Southern Africa called « TechCamp« .

Jointly organized by the United States embassy and the cooperation of Switzerland embassy, the objective was to teach how to use technology with the aim of solving problems

« For An Innovative Generation« , the TechCamp is a series of sessions in the course of which organizations of civil society have the possibility of making discover and teach the use of technology to solve problems.

The event gathered Mozambicans of civil society as well as experts in technology of Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Cape Verde, Portugal, Switzerland and India.

The responsible persons were able to explain the challenges with which they are confronted in their domains of activity and the experts were capable of presenting a technological series of tools which can solve problems encountered.
