Africa Top Success Ils font l'Afrique
On 6th June 2015, the Togolese journalist, Komla Eklu received, the « Icon of the press » Prize awarded by the RDI buying group. This award is within the framework of the activities marking the celebration of the freedom of the press international day (3rd May). Journalists from four countries of Africa were listed in the competition according to the RDI representative in Togo, Eric Ametsipe.
« I am just the first to be surprised. After more than 40 year work, I can see in the media sector the success of my former students and it comforts me. I use the opportunity to pay a tribute to all those who transmit their knowledge to the younger generation« . These are the first words by the prize-winner after receiving his prize.
Respected Journalist in his corporation, Komla is reporter and consultant for Radio France Internationale (RFI). He teaches in several communication and journalism schools.
The « Icon of the press » Prize is the latest among the awards organized by the RDI buying group to reward the excellence in Africa. RDI – Togo has already organized the prizes to reward journalists, pupils, mechanics and partners of the company.
RDI has about fifty years of experience regarding purchase and distribution of equipment.
