Ecair: opening of Brazzaville-Beirut line next 2nd June

ECAir, Equatorial Congo Airlines, the national airline company of the Republic of Congo managed by Fatima Beyina-Moussa, also Chairwoman of AFRAA, (Africa Airline Association), has added a new station to its network.

Within the framework of its extension, ECAir will open on Tuesday, 2nd June the Brazzaville-Beirut line.

Beirut (Republic of Lebanon) is a historic capital of the Middle East with regard to its many cultural, commercial, banking centers and places of interest.

This initially twice-weekly line (Tuesday and Saturday from Brazzaville; Wednesday and Sunday from Beirut) in association with Trans Air Congo (TAC) is a solution for an increasing demand from merchants and the Lebanese community settled down on the continent. The third intercontinental line of Equatorial Congo Airlines after Paris (2013) and Dubai (2014) will be operated with a Boeing 757.

The Boeing 757 of ECAir will take off from Brazzaville at 11:30 am to land in Beirut at 8:20 pm and will leave Beirut at 9:30 am to land at 2:30 pm in Brazzaville. This long round haul flight is offered up from 560 000 XAF or 972 US dollars.

Following the inaugural Brazzaville-Beirut flight, ECAir, official carrier of the African Games (September 4-19th in Brazzaville), will extend its regional network with the opening of the stations of Abidjan, Yaoundé, Bangui and N’Djaména.

ECAir that has already carried about one million passengers will organize the 47th general assembly of AFRAA from 8th to 10th November 2015 in Brazzaville.
