Emergence Film Festival: from 1st to 5th December in Lomé

After a first successful edition, the steering committee of the Emergence film festival announces the colors of the second edition that will be held from 1st to 5th December 2015 in the Togolese capital.

Movie projections, workshops and conferences will fill this young African film-makers meeting. « About ten fiction short films and documentary realized by young beginner or professional African film-makers will be selected for the competition », indicated Joel Tchédré, the promoter of the festival.

During the first edition of the Emergence festival, several Togolese movies were projected. They are among others « Nana Benz, les reines du textile african » by Joel Tchedré, « LES HUSTLERS » by the director, Egom AMAH or « Atlantic Produce Togo S.A. », a full-length film by Penda Houzangbe and Jean-Gabriel Tregoat.

As a reminder, Joel Tchedre, the director of the festival won several prizes during the last edition of the festival « Clap Ivoire » in Abidjan (Ivory Coast).
