The Ladies International Festival (Festidames) that took place from 16th to 22nd June in Libreville kept all its promises according to the organizers.
The Festidames is a cultural meeting organized every year in order to highlight feminine talents and promote their artistic works and to honor deserving women for their contributions to humanitarian cause.
Among these women, appears the Senegalese Diouma Dieng Diakhaté, boss of Shalimar Sewing, who was rewarded for service provided in the « the fashion sector« .
During the gala evening, she was given the « Femme d’excellence » Award.
The prize waw handed over to Mrs Diouma Dieng Diakhaté by the Congolese Minister, Mrs Brigitte Anguilet Mba, in charge of the Social protection and the National Solidarity.
In return, she seized the opportunity to give an envelope for 500 000 FCFA to the « Horizons Nouveaux » foundation created by the deceased Edith Lucie Bongo Ondimba.
She besides, offered to the women taking part in the official reception, about fifty copies of her book entitled « Les secrets d’une réussite« .
