The Ivorian stylist designer, Gille Touré, celebrated his 20 years of career in the world of fashion on 8th November 2014. The reputation of the man was worth to him the effective presence of the first lady of Ivory Coast, Dominique Ouattara, also sponsor of the event.
The celebration of the third edition of «Féerie» label coincided on Saturday, 8th November with the celebration of the 20 years of career of the stylist designer. For the event, Gilles Touré did things in a big way. Perfect decoration of the congress room of Hotel Ivoire, presence of the distinguished guests, everything was there for the party to be beautiful.
In her speech, the first lady of Ivory Coast praised the genius of her fellow countryman. « From his beginnings till now, Gilles Touré has always showed an immense talent and a spirit of extraordinary creativity that make the characteristic of famous stylists. During his entire career, Gilles has gone through all ranks and marked people by his particular style and his permanent renewal« , indicated Dominique Ouattara.
Gilles Touré is the agent of the « Féerie » label that has got a real success in Ivory Coast as well as abroad. The stylist has dressed several personalities among whom the members of Magic System group.
Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in economy, Gilles Touré preferred to turn to his passion by flying to Paris where he joined the International School of Fashion Design. He came out as first of his class and made an internship at Paco Rabane.
Gilles Touré called his first great fashion show « Turbulence« . Collections realized in Uniwax loincloth will remain unforgettable for years.
