Insurance: CICA-RE doing good business

The exercise 2014 ended with satisfaction for CICA-RE. The Common Reinsurance Company for the member States of the African Conference of the Insurance Markets (CICA) has realized a turnover of 30 billion, better than the previous year when it achieved 25.9 billion FCFA. The news was revealed last Friday during the reinsurers’ annual session.

CICA-RE started its activities on the African continent on 1^st January 1984 with an initial capital of 600 million FCFA.

The Company includes the member States of the International Conference for the Control of Insurances (CICA) that are Ivory Coast, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Chad, Congo, Cameroon, Senegal, Togo, Benin, Mali, Niger, Central Republic of Africa.
