The Companies General Confederacy of Ivory Coast (CGECI) through its feminine branch, the development of feminine entrepreneurship commission (CDEF) is organizing on 19th and 20th May 2014, the first feminine entrepreneurship days in Abidjan. The meeting of experiences sharing is intended to women business managers and those who are longing to become boss of their economic activities.
Placed under the theme, « Role and position of woman entrepreneur in the economic and social development », the first entrepreneurship days will allow organizers to arouse entrepreneurial vocation at women and to inform them about factors favoring new business start-up.
« At the end of this forum we hope to create an additional motivation at women of Ivory Coast. They are already active and they just have to understand that they are valuable.
Drawing up the chart of the realities of private initiative by highlighting constraints connected to social and family environment; informing women entrepreneurs about the advantages and the importance of networking », published CGECI on their official site.
During a press conference held in Abidjan in prelude to the meeting, Mrs TOURE Massogbè Diabaté, chairwoman of the development of feminine entrepreneurship commission (CDEF), declared that days will be an opportunity to remind women the importance to leave informal environment.
