He succeeded in making change on last 7th February, all the timetable of the French president, François Hollande, by making him attend in Trappes, a theatrical match of improvisation between schoolchildren.

A surprise visit planned by a funny lobbyist: Jamel Debbouze, 38 years old, who grew up in this city of the Parisian suburb.

Far from making his biography, he belongs to list the most influential 50 Africans in the world, a selection recently published by the Pan-African magazine, Jeune Afrique.

Passed through Canal+, married to the TV ex-presenter Mélissa Theuriau, the French-Moroccan comedian assumes a more and more political speech and does not choose his movies by chance: La Marche in 2013 and especially Indigènes in 2006 that lifted the taboo on the pensions of the war veterans of colonies.

The French government announced by the way that the former 80 000 « infantrymen » would collect the same pensions as their French comrades-in-arms.

Since a few years, Jamel Debbouze has been managing his theater (Comedy Club) and became a talent-spotter: Thomas Ngijol, Claudia Tagbo, Fabrice Eboué, Nawell Madani.

In Morocco, he works twice as hard at any edition of the festival « Marrakech du rire« , established in 2011.
