Kenya: a trio of students in the race for the world title for innovation

Is the Kenyan team that won the edition 2014 of the « Idea Trophy« , is an inter-university competition for innovation targeting Kenyan students of the university first cycle going to repeat the exploit at the world competition for innovation?

Anyway, the team made up of Seif Salim, Elvis Kipkorir and Clifford Ogeto from the University of Eldor, position themselves for the Grand Prix for this competition that has been taking place since 16th March until 20th March 2015.

The trio of students should face 30 other African teams among which those from Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, and Ivory Coast who participate in the « Unilever World Competition » of the future leaders League.

« The competition is interested in creativity and innovation, opportunities for the international commitment and devotion to a cause, three essential qualities students look for at an employer« , reminded on Wednesday in Nairobi, Marc Engel, the CEO of Unilever for East Africa.

The competition thus requires students that generate innovative ideas on famous creation of a brand and the increasing use of products.

« Here you will have the opportunity to understand from inside a leading company that our top leaders have to develop and begin to acquire the skills you need to become a future leader« , added Mr. Engel.
