Symphos 2015: technology serving phosphate

The OCP Group, specialist of phosphate and its by-products, organizes from 18th to 20th May 2015 in Marrakesh, the third edition of Symphos « International Symposium on Innovation and Technology in the Phosphate Industry« . This event with technological and scientific dominant puts in the spotlight innovation, technology, the trends regarding phosphates and by-products valuation processes, research as well as development perspectives of the phosphate sector.

With the success of the previous two editions organized in 2011 and 2013, the Symphos 2015 positions itself as a meetings and exchanges crossroads between the main international actors of phosphate industry and by-products.

Symphos 2015 puts in the program a wide range of scientific and technological themes showing the latest exploits and the innovations in the sector of phosphate for a sustainable agriculture. Famous international experts will participate in this edition to present and benefit from various programs, the opportunity also to share the results of their researches and skills during the various sessions of the work and the debate organized by a high-level international technical committee.

This meeting promises to open more on biotechnology, fertilizers of the future and « slow & controlled releases ». It will also be a reflection space around themes on sustainable development particularly, the management of water and energy, the stakes related to industry and the development of innovative processes and the sustainable agriculture.

Through the organization of this third edition, OCP, world leader in the phosphate industry, reaffirms its commitment for the promotion of the technical and industrial innovation serving the sustainable agriculture.
