The third edition of the Africa-China Young Leaders Forum came to an end on Sunday, 29th March 2015 in Arusha (Tanzania). Co-organized by the Chama Cha Mapinduzi party (CCM, party in power in Tanzania) and the Communist Party of China (CPC), the meeting was placed under the theme « Friendship, cooperation and development« . All in all, 400 young decision-makers coming from 40 countries took part in the works.

The participants in this third forum called for the creation of a regional macroeconomic policy peculiar to Africa. For the young leaders, the development of the continent passes through an appropriate economic policy.

Closing the works of the forum, the Tanzanian vice-president, Mohammed Gharib Bilal, called Africa to be inspired by the Chinese model. According to the latter, China has already gone the way on which Africa is at present.

« While we look at these possibilities, it is obvious that we cannot escape the new approaches of the world development. The important thing for the African countries is to create their own policies that will help promote our macroeconomic stability« , declared the Tanzanian.

As a reminder, the serving chairman of the African Union, the Zimbabwean, Robert Mugabe chaired the opening of the forum.
