Africa Top Success announced it earlier that Miss Aimée Abra Tenu, the executive director of the NGO “Sainte Thérèse de l’enfant Jésus (STEJ Togo)”, is a model for her generation. She was just distinguished « Vlisco 2014 Ambassadress » in Togo on Saturday March 29th, 2014.

This reward is the fruit of the commitment of the young Togolese of 28 years in favor of her peers. Through her non-governmental organization, she is fighting for the youth in order to allow them to have access to education, to culture, to drinking water, sanitation and environmental protection.

They were four in the competition for the prestigious « Vlisco 2014 Ambassadress Prize. »

With her new vision of social business, Miss Aimée Tenu Abra outclassed her competitors Améyovi Homawoo (Plastic surgeon, Designer, Video director: N°1), Epiphanie Houmey Eklu-Koevanu (Business jurist, Coordonator of GF2D, Law Teacher: N°2) and Ahoéfa Anna Vovor (hematology aggregated Professor: N°4).

As if she was expecting this distinction, Aimé already had in mind the main lines of activities that will fill her mandate. « It will at first start with actions in favor of children education and also actions towards women groups in rural zones without forgetting the enlargement of our workshops to be able to clean up our cities, recycle the maximum of bags « pure to water » that pollute our environment » she declared to the editorial staff of Africa Top Success, present at the event.

The NGO STEJ opened at the beginning of March in Kpalimé (120km far from Lomé), a new recycling unit of plastics: bags and accessories. This workshop employs 8 young dressmakers and tapestry-makers, 15 women collectors and washerwomen of plastic bags, what brought to about fifty the staff of the NGO.

Miss Aimé is also the promoter of bio soaps Kari-kari and natural fruit juices ViViFruits.

Before this new distinction, Aimée Abra Tenu was already ambassadress of Weena program of the mobile phone operator MOOV Togo.
