«Life»: the mobile operating block that relieves!

The NGO « La Vie » (Life) started on Tuesday in Bondoukou (Northeast of Ivory Coast) a campaign of hernial treatment towards about hundred patients thanks to its « mobile operating block« .

According to Simon Soro, the Vice-chairman of the NGO, about 500 doses of vaccine against meningitis will also be administered to the populations during this sanitary campaign planned outside the 4^th edition of the National Days of valorization of agriculture in Bondoukou.

Initiated by the Agency for the Valorization of Agriculture (AVA), these days are taking place from 2^nd to 6^th December around the theme, « population growth and food safety challenge in Ivory Coast« .

Requested by the ministry of State, ministry of employment, social affairs and vocational training within the framework of the sociocultural and sports week organized thanks to the 24^th International Day by the elderly, the NGO « La Vie » carried out last October, hernial treatment operations towards about hundred patients in the department of Kong in the Ivory Coast far north.
