The assessment of the last three years by Macky Sall at the head of Senegal is globally positive according to certain observers who support that the Head of State inherited a country socially and politically deconstructed.
His Senegal Emergent Plan (PSE), an ambitious program to put the country back on the rails, is appreciated by all.
The ambition of Macky Sall to lead Senegal to emergence was crowned by the « Economic Leadership Prize » awarded to him last Friday in Washington.
During a meeting having for theme: « Imagine back Africa: give birth to the Africa we want« , former American Delegate Secretary of State for the African Affairs, Johnnie Carson, thus praised the courage, the determination and the vision of Mr. Sall to create a new Senegal through the PSE.
The meeting took place within the framework of the 15th anniversary of AllAfrica global media, distributor of information and electronic news focused on Africa, celebrated in the American capital.
In his speech, Mr. Carson also glorified the « vitality of the Senegalese democracy » and « the unprecedented decision of the Senegalese president who made a commitment to reduce his mandate from seven to five years« .
Representing the Senegalese president in this ceremony, the minister in charge of the PSE follow-up, Abdoul Aziz Tall, expressed his satisfaction to receive in the name of the Head of State, the Economic Leadership Prize that celebrates « the vision, the leadership and the sense of democracy » of President Macky Sall.
On this occasion, Mr. Aziz Tall and his colleague, Mountaga Sy, presented the Senegal Emergent Plan to the American private sector. The exchanges concerned the macroeconomic and the business climate environment.
