Royal Air Maroc: successful first flight to N’djamena with 90 passengers

Launched last 17th June, the routing Casablanca-N’Djamena of the airline company, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), was a real success.

This very first flight was thus operated departing from Mohammed V Airport of Casablanca carrying 90 passengers on board.

The Chadian capital town thus became the 32nd destination served by the national company for two flights per week (Tuesday and Thursday).

Neverthelss, «due to a high demand registered on this new routing, Royal Air Maroc will soon increase the offer by a third flight», specified the company

The flights will be operated by a Boeing 737-800, a new generation aircraft that can carry 12 passengers in business class and 159 in Economy class.

It serves N’Djamena with a 50 min stop in Niamey (capital town of Niger).

The company is planning to operate through flights once it strengthens its long-haul fleet in the coming months with aircrafts Boeing 787 (Dreamliner) types.

With the opening of this new air routing, Royal Air Morocco thus strengthens its network in Africa while strengthening its role as hub between Africa and the rest of the world.
