The Standard Bank received the prize of the best foreign currencies serevice provider (Best FX provider) in Africa at the Global Finance Foreign Exchange Awards 2015.
This bank won this prize for the third consecutive time.
The presence of the Standard Bank in numerous African countries, particularly in South Africa, Nigeria, Botswana, Kenya and Zambia, allowed it receiving this distinction from the Global Finance.
It was rewarded for its excellence in the service of its department of foreign currencies.
According to Richard De Roos, the person in charge of the Foreign Exchange at Standard Bank, this prize shows once again the commitment to connect Africa.
« As the real African bank, the Standard Bank ideally positions itself to facilitate the business that develops on the continent« , he declared.
For her part, Meenakshi Sandrasagren, the person in charge of the Global Markets at Standard Bank Mauritius, declared that this bank joins the growth in Africa.
« This prize testifies of our capacity to give world class solutions to our customers on the continent regarding the exchange of currencies« , she highlight.
According to her, the commitment of the Standard Bank to extend its network in Africa allows understanding the intrinsic needs from the customers in order to give tailored and flexible solutions and innovative banking advice.
