The music festival « TribeOne Dinokeng » will be held on 26th, 27th and 28th September 2014 in the city of Tshwane (South Africa). Organized by Rockstar 4000 and Sony Music Africa, the event intends to be the meeting point of the African and foreign artists all over the world. For the edition 2014, a dozen of stars as Nicki Minaj, Tiwa Savage or Fally Ipupa will keep the public in suspense.

For this first edition, the organizers of the festival aim high. About one hundred artists are expected in the mining city of Tshwane (South Africa). Fally Pupa, the only artist from central Africa invited to the USA-Africa summit, the Gabonese Ba’ ponga, the Cameroonian Stanley Enow or the Nigerian Tiwa Savage will represent the sub-Saharan Africa at this cultural meeting.

However, some great artist will be missing. Davido, the Nigerian star, winner of several international prizes this year, will be absent. Ivory Coast that abounds in artists of international fame will not be represented at this meeting of size.

Answering the questions of the Gabonese journalists, the steering committee of the event explained the choice of the artist Ba’ponga. « Even if we did not yet sign a contract with a French-speaking artist because of the weak visibility of some at the world level, Ba’ Ponga, (…) fascinated us and we know how to count on his talent and his representativeness in certain countries of the continent », explained Magalie Wora Palmira, representative of Rockstar 4000.
