From 28th to 30th May 2015, the Katanga Business Meeting, the company fair in Lubumbashi will be held for its second edition in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The Katanga Business Meeting (KBM), http: // www.katanga-bm.com, the most important business meeting of the region, is held in DRC, a dynamic country which GDP growth amounted to 8.3 % in 2013. This event has for objective to offer a meeting space for small and medium-sized enterprises and those big-sized ones to generate concrete business opportunities and favor the emergence of a multi-purpose and complementary professional network.

The KBM, organized by the Musal Sarl company with the support of the Government of the Province of Katanga, offers an exhibition space of 7000 square meter, fully at the disposal of 5000 visitors and 160 companies expected at the fair.

The most emergent 9 business sectors of the region are represented, namely: agriculture, car and equipment, bank and finance, infrastructure and building, IT and telecoms, mines and industries, services to private individuals, services to professionals, the transport and logistics.

This fair answers to the needs identified on one hand by SME to have a space helping them making known better their services, and, on the other hand, by the large companies having subcontractors and accessible and competent local partners.

Outside the exhibition spaces, visitors and exhibitors of the KBM can also participate in conferences and workshops organized on themes directly concerning active companies in DRC, such as legal and statutory questions, supply in energy, human resources management, business climate, public-private partnerships, development of key industrial branches and many more.
