The Internet services between both Congo will soon be improved. The Congo telecom company (Congo-Brazzaville) and to the Congolese Company for the post offices and telecommunications (SCPT) (Democratic Republic of Congo), signed last 28th April, a draft agreement for the optical fiber exploitation.

During the signing ceremony, documents were signed by the director of Congo telecom, Akouala, and Didier Musseté, the managing director of the SCPT.

« This optical fiber connection will allow interconnecting the telecommunications networks settled in our two States and exchanging important flows of voice, data, images traffic under the supervision of our two national operators« , specified the director of Congo telecom.

The junction of the optical fiber networks between Brazzaville and Kinshasa should prevent from failures or technical breakdowns between Kinshasa and the landing station of Mouanda and between Brazzaville and the landing station of Matombi in Pointe-Noire.
