The news was released at the end of last week by Wei Wenhua, ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Cameroon during a meeting with the Minister of Transport, Robert Nkili.

During this meeting, the Chinese diplomat underlined that « the cooperation between China and Cameroon regarding transport, has registered wonderful results these recent years« .

He added that « these recent weeks, both countries exchanged many notes in order to exactly strengthen the meteorological infrastructures« .

Mr. Wenhua underlined that in this perspective, « meteorology being at present a main issue in the world, China decided to create a meteorological support center in Africa« .
