Noun Fare, the Togolese journalist and writer proceeded on Saturday, 21st June to the dedication of « Rivales« , her second literary work. Published by the Awoudy Editions, the novel handles in ordinary French, a diversity of themes that makes the annoying everyday life of girls in the tropics.

« You are only useful to entertain libidinous and frustrated men incapable of answering the desires of their wives faded by parturitions. They will mark you with their sperm and will abandon you, tired. This attraction you show, you will see that it is only the smell, too strong, of urine and sperm that you keep in your underpants. » These few lines of the novel « Rivales » perfectly illustrate the generation gaps, a topical subject in our African societies.

Noun Fare prefers to focus on the education of the girl through her work. However, how to leave untold sex, incest, jealousy or infidelity that make of the novel, a real delight for the youth during the summer looming ahead? Before « Rivales« , the author already published « La sirène des bas-fonds » (The siren of the dregs), also by the Awoudy Editions.

Certified in the Lille Journalism College, Noun Fare showed her ability on several radio and television channels of Togo. She is currently research associate in civil society, defence and media in the Autonomous Center of Studies and Capacity Building for Development in Togo (CADERDT).
