Togo: new saving mission by Aimes-Afrique starting from 1st June

The international AIMES-AFRIQUE NGO, faithful to its objective to bring hospital towards the populations, starts a new mission of surgical operations in the South of Togo from 1^st to 6^th June 2015. All in all, 525 patients (416 in general surgery and 109 in ophthalmology) will undergo surgical operations free of charge.

« We crossed about thirty (30) localities and we listed these patients who have surgical pathologies. We gave chance to more than 5000 patients who had medical pathologies and listed 525 who must be operated« , declared Dr. Michel Kodom, chairman of AIMES-AFRIQUE.

This stage is only the beginning of a series that will cross the whole country, according to the managing staff of the organization.

The NGO « International Association of Doctors for the promotion of Education and Health » in Africa (AIMES-Afrique) has already carried out more than 300 humanitarian medical – surgical missions in 6 countries of Africa and more than 10.000 free surgical operations realized in hamlets and most distant villages.
