The edition 2015 of the marathon of Paris ended on Sunday with the coronation of the Kenyan, Mark Korir. In 2 hours 5 minutes and 48 seconds, the 30-year-old athlete succeeded in obtaining his first victory in an international competition. He was second in the half marathon of Paris competed last March.
Another Kenyan athlete, Luka Kanda, arrived second in front of the Ethiopian, Seboka Tola, who ended the lists 100 %African.
« I really love Paris; I always try to do my best there. I progressed a lot to be under the bar of 2 hours and 7 minutes; I am very happy » declared the winner of the 39th edition of the marathon of Paris, on the microphone of France 3.
In spite of his nice performance, the Kenyan did not succeed in taking the record of the marathon of Paris detained by the Ethiopian, Kenenisa Bekele (2h 5min 2s in 2014)
