The Ivory Coast government has just made a great step in the process of modernization of its public services. It proceeded on Friday to a restitution session of the national document eFonctionpublique Strategy on the digital reform of Ivory Coast public services. The objective of the meeting was the validation of the documents that will facilitate the execution of this new policy which purpose is to move the public power closer to the citizens.
« Our administration was fighting long time ago for the modernity of our services. The Efonctionpublique project is for us an important component of the development ambition of our country and a walk towards emergence« , declared Koné N. Bruno, Ministry of Post Office, New Information and Communication Technologies.
With the www.gouv.ci gate, every ministry has a platform to inform the citizens in real time. The cost of the project is estimated at 15 billion 820 million FCFA. Beyond the improvement of the services the government offers to the citizens, the Eadminstration will improve the working conditions of agents of the public service
« The Ivory Coast public sector, through its administration has a dominating role to be played in this process towards progress. The implementation of this eFonctionpublique project will allow all the citizens to follow their administrative procedures without moving« , indicated the Ivory Coast Ministry of the public service and administrative reform, Cissé Bacongo.
