Small entrepreneurs of Zambia have just benefited from an important financing.

This thanks to 1,5 million dollar loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) to the Zambian government in order to support micro-projects.

« This loan was paid out within the framework of the program of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Africa« , underlined Freddie Kwesiga (photo), the representative of the ADB in Zambia.

« The SME program in Africa covers the Eastern, Western, Central and Northern regions to which a total of 125 million dollars was allocated« , he added.

The ADB representative declared that the SME program in Africa is planned to provide credit to about 25 financial lending institutions for future loans to small companies.
