« Akcents Croisés », initiator of international festival of musics « Africa Rythms« , launched the 7th edition of the event which will be held in Lomé (Togo) from 28th April 3rd May 2014. The cultural and artistic meeting which aims to be a framework of share and exchange between actors of the sector, innovates with the creation of an artistic village.
« For this seventh edition, a village will have risen for the festival on the playground of Tokoin Forever in Lomé. There will be a big stage with all the broadcasting equipment, tents for the meetings and training workshops, B to B exchange spaces and spaces for catering », indicated Christian Manzamesso Bégbessou, chairman of « Akcents Croisés » Association.
Besides workshops and meetings, the artistic residence of « Africa Rythms » called « Terre de nos aïeux (Fatherland) » will work with artists for the coming out of an album with social character before the end of the festival. This initiative is supported by Culture Aid Fund.
The public that will visit the playground of Tokoin Forever will be entitled to two huge concerts. Manzamesso Bégbessou summarized us the previous edition: « There were about sixty professionals of musical sector who were trained; 100 Togolese and foreign artists who succeeded playing on stages; about ten Togolese artists who got chance to go and play outside within the framework of the partnerships we set up. »
