Ebola: researchers and innovators obliged to wait a little in Burkina

Initially planned from 15th to 22nd November 2014 in Ouagadougou at the « Maison du people », the 11th edition of the Scientific Research and Technological Innovation National Forum (FRSIT) is postponed to a later date because of the sanitary situation caused by the spreading of Ebola virus in the West African sub-region.

The information is released in a communiqué published on Thursday by the Burkinabe ministry in charge of scientific research and Innovation. Nevertheless, the preparatory activities of the edition, mainly subscriptions for exhibition stands continue in order to be ready from the relaunching of the event at the convenient moment by the government, underlined the communiqué.

This edition of the FRSIT should allow of discussing around the theme: « adaptation and impact strength to climate change for a sustainable development: place and role of science, technology and innovation« .

The Scientific Research and Technological Innovation National Forum (FRSIT) is an annual event by the Burkinabe government the purpose of which is to value the research and innovation results.

During every edition, we attend the exhibition of products by researchers and innovators among whom the best are rewarded.
