A new Pan-African channel is expected on the African market. The Gabonese Eveline Accrombessi will proceed on 24th March 2015 in France to the launching of Edan (Evelyne Diatta-Accrombessi Network) that positions itself as the first Black world television network.

The new channel that will be available on the Canal+ will value the contemporary and urban African cultures. African success-stories, reports, talk-shows and full-length films will fill the program of the new channel.

For the CEO, Eveline Accrombessi, it will be a quality job. « We offer you the best quality programming that will amuse and inspire you« , she wrote on her LinkedIn account.

The programs of the chain will be managed by the American, Barry Schulman, distinguished several times in the USA for his TV programs.

He proved himself at A&E, CBS / Group W, Channel Thirteen and WNET. Barry Schulman is the designer of the successful programs at Sci Fi Channel.

Edan will be competing on the African market with A +, the African channel of the Canal+ group launched in October 2014.
