The Malian Head of State, Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta alias IBK, will personally chair the 15th edition of the Forum of Bamako which opens next Thursday in the Malian capital.

Space of high-level reflection, the Forum of Bamako gathers every year, hundreds of intellectuals, business managers and political leaders willing to testify and exchange on the development stakes of the African continent.

For this edition, these actors are going to discuss the « emergence of Africa on the horizon 2035« .

According to the organizers of this big meeting, there is good reason « to think about the major emergence conditions of the African continent on the horizon 2035« .

« This year, the forum will focus on the definition of the conditions of the growth transformation into stable paid productive employments« , indicated a steering committee member.

Eminent academics as Steven Ekovich from the American University of Paris or African experts such as Cheick Tidiane Gadio, chairman of the Pan-African Institute of Strategies and Brahim Fassi Fihri, chairman of the Amadeus Institute are expected in this forum,.

Several diplomats of whom Pierre Buyoya of the African Mission for Mali and the Sahel, managing staffs of regional organizations and research and development institutes as well as members of the civil society are taking part in this forum.
