« Convergence at the time of African emergence » is the theme of the fourth Africa IT and Telecom Forum that gathered in Abidjan on 27th and 28th March, professionals of sectors of Technological Innovation and Telecommunications coming from all over Africa. The 200 participants in the forum thought about the stakes related to the convergence of technological innovations and Telecoms. They also evoked the impact of the convergence on telephony operators’ new «business models».
Morocco, participant in this forum, found a new market in the sub-region. According to Nourreddine Chikhaoui, representative of a company of Rabat, people of Ivory Coast are interested in Moroccans skills regarding ICTS.
« Through intense contacts during the Forum, we are convinced that African continent has enormous opportunities to extend our activities. The presence of a strong Moroccan delegation at this edition, had for objective prospecting and research for partnerships according to our strategy of establishment in Africa, especially that His Majesty the King Mohammed VI never stopped, during his multiple African tours, reaffirming the will of the Kingdom to strengthen the south-south cooperation and the win-win partnership », indicated Chikhaou on Liberation magazine.
