FESPACO: Michel Ouédraogo gives up his seat to Ardiouma Soma

After five last years at the head of the Pan-African Cinema Festival of Ouagadougou, Michel Ouédraogo hands over to Ardiouma Soma who was just nappointed, Director General of the FESPACO.

The decision is contained in the report of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday in Dédougou, about 300 km far from Ouagadougou.

Ardiouma Soma was previously Director of the African film library of Ouagadougou and art director of the FESPACO.

The appointment of this experienced culture actor joins the new dynamics by the transition authorities in Burkina Faso.

Kindly note that this decision occurs about two months from the holding of the next organization of the 24^th edition of FESPACO planned between the end of February and the beginning of March 2015.

Besides, we may indicate that the Council of Ministers was relocated in Dédougou because of the celebration of the Independence Day that takes place in this city.
