Josiane Ki: the Miss who has succeeded in promoting Burkina Faso

Josiane Ki was crowned Miss University 2015, a beauty competition that henceforth acts as Miss of the Faso. Between fashion show and dance, 18 candidates coming from various universities, high schools and secondary schools of Burkina, competed in beauty, elegance, charm and skills.

It was during a prestigious evening which took place last Saturday in Ouagadougou, the Burkinabe capital.

3rd year student in law at for the University Saint Thomas d’ Aquin (USTA) the 22-year-old student, Josiane Ki, was appointed « best candidate » « to have promoted Burkina Faso the best« , through a presentation of cultural diversity and tourist potentialities of the country.

A stage wanted by the organizers to gauge the intellectual beauty of the candidates.

In fact, his theme was selected by the organizers with regard to the transition situation the country is experiencing.

« Many embassies registered our country on a black list, a destination not to be go« , indicated Honoré Bambara, the promoter of Miss University.

The latter underlined that « in front of the threat of the Ebola virus disease and Boko Haram, everything can be thought today in the past« .

The candidates invited the world to come and visit the beautiful Burkina Faso, land of hospitality.

Here is the prize-winners list with their prizes:

Josiane Ki (Miss University 2015 and Miss of the Faso) won one million FCFA, a motorcycle, a computer, a Samsung mark Galaxy S5 telephone, 25 000 FCFA of communication unit during twelve months, five Vilsco loincloths.

Wéli Cissé Barry (1st runner up) won 300 000 FCFA, two Vilsco loincloths, a smartphone, 25 000 FCFA of communication unit.

Princesse Poadiagué (2nd runner up got 200 000 FCFA, two Vilsco loincloths, a smartphone, 25 000 FCFA of communication unit.
