World Bank published on 29th October 2014 the 12th Doing Business report on business climate improvement in the world. The study that concerned 189 countries revealed the effort of African governments regarding reforms.

Benin, Togo, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Democratic Republic of Congo are five African countries that proceeded to the important reforms according to World Bank. To this list is added other countries as Tajikistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Azerbaijan, Ireland and United Arab Emirates.

In Togo as in DR of Congo, the establishment of single window to facilitate new business start-up procedures weighed up in the ranking by Bretton Woods institution. In Lomé, the short news is appreciated by the authorities.

For the economic adviser for the president of Republic, Doing Business 2015 report is the fruit of the commitment from the president and his government. « It is the outcome of an old dream. It is the recognition of efforts undertaken many years ago. The jump is historic because to gain 15 positions is not easy at all. We do not make reforms for fun but to seduce our lifeblood and investors« , he declared.
