The number of new cases in the most three affected West-African countries (Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone) got « a real decrease« .

It is what showed the World Health Organization (WHO) in its new report concerning the Ebola virus.

Over more than 21.329 cases registered, at least 8.459 people died from the Ebola fever epidemic in the world.

« Except for 15 deaths, all the rest of them are concentrated in Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia« , indicated the WHO in its report.

« This decrease is real but does not mean the fight is ended« , underlined nevertheless Tarik Jasarevic (photo), spokesman of the UN agency in Geneva.

And he evoked a « first optimistic sign and the result of the work done these recent months« .

The sanitary organization added that the rate of new cases by the virus is at its lowest level since August 2014.
