Thomas Ngijol is making the buzz with his new movie that has Africa for theme, “Le Crocodile de Botswanga” (The Crocodile of Botswanga), a caustic comedy on African autocrats and the “Françafrique”, produced by his friend, Fabrice Eboué.

Thomas Ngijol was known by the general public with Jamel Comedy Club. He was born on 30th October 1978 in Paris.

He is the son of Gilbert Ngijol, Cameroonian sociologist, and Crescence Ngijol, a nurse, fervent Christian.

He spent his youth at Maisons-Alfort, in Val-de-Marne in Paris region.

He started as presenter at the primary school of the school complex, Aimé et Eugénie Cotton de Bonneuil-sur-Marne in Val-de-Marne.

He then met Dieudonné in taking part in live theater courses given at the “Théâtre de la Main d’Or” in Paris.

He tried his chance in solo at Moloko in Paris with his one-man-show, “Bienvenue” He got noticed by Kader Aoun who opened him the doors of Jamel Comedy Club.

He has presented on Canal+, in the program “Le Grand Journal”, a daily column for two seasons (2006-2008). His most known sketches are “Un Superman Noir”! “Les jeux olympiques d’hiver”, “Le Bac et Mon retour du Cameroun”.

In September, 2008, he joined the program of Stéphane Bern “Le Fou du roi” on France Inter.

In October, 2010, he produced his first movie with his former colleague of Jamel Comedy Club, Fabrice Éboué, “Case depart”, a comedy about slavery which setting was situated in the West Indies. He was also one of the actors and the scriptwriter. He is living with Karole Rocher.
