Having been ranked first in Africa for the electronic governance, Tunisia is just honored by the United Nations prize particularly in the domain of electronic administration in 2014.

It is what Anouar Ben Khelifa, Secretary of State with the head of government in charge of governance and public service, asserted.

Besides this distinction, Tunisia was also ranked second in electronic participation.

During a meeting with the press last Monday at the Palace of the government in La Kasbah, Ben Khelifa declared that this distinction was giving to Tunisia by the assistant general secretary of the United Nations for economic and social affairs, Wu Hongbo.

For Ben Khalifa, this distinction aims to be the consecration of the national efforts regarding administration and electronic governance.

The Secretary of State also added that it is a question of « international recognition » for progress realized by Tunisia in this domain while noting that « this prize will not stop the improvement of the business climate and in order to attract foreign investors« .
