The 16th edition of Africajarc festival opens in Cajarc (France) from 24th to 27th July 2014. The rich African cultures will be celebrated again during 4 days that will last the event. For this year, the African music diva, Angélique Kidjo marks her return with « Eve« , her last album. Corneille for his part will, for his first time, go to the podium of the prestigious festival.
The steering committee of Africajarc festival published on its official site the (temporary) program of the 16th edition of the event that celebrates African cultures through songs, tales, dances, literary works, cinema, conferences etc.
The great voice of African music Angelique Kidjo will take part in the event by the sides of several icons such as the Rwandan artist Corneille or the Ghanaian Séna Dagadu.
The documentary movie « Du Mali au Mississipi » by Martin Scorcese and « Bamako », a fiction realized by Abderrahman Sissako will be presented at the 16th Africajarc. As he has the skill of doing it, the storyteller Gabriel Kinsa will seduce the public with his traditional style that sends back to the roots.
