MILEAD: the Senegalese Yacine Ndiaye among prize-winners

Organized in 2004 and based in the United States and in Ghana, sponsored by the UNDP and the UNIFEM, the Initiative Milead (Moremi Initiative Leadership Empowerment Development) promotes talent, commitment, values and skills of young women leaders at the level of the African continent.

After a process involving 1260 candidates from 42 countries, Yacine Ndiaye, of Senegalese origin, has just been chosen among 25 prize-winners.

The prize-winner will proudly represent her country at the Moremi Summer Institute that is held in Accra in July-August.

She placed her commitment to the women everyday life welfare in education and training.

Yacine Ndiaye is certified in international Negotiation in Aix-en-Provence, France. After her return in Senegal, she took up the communication and the broadcasting business.

Today, she is in charge of audiovisual production at Cinékap, co-producer of the movie Tey d’Alain Gomis, Etalon d’or de Yennenga 2013.

Through this business, she is already making her contribution through a training program of African young people in Cinema and broadcasting businesses.
