The young and sublime Togolese, Alexandrine Hantz, Miss Beauty Africa 2013, just put at stake her crown with the launching on Wednesday in Lomé, the second edition of this regional beauty competition under the theme: « Beauty of Africa, factor of peace and development« .
A total of 20 high-level beauty queens coming from 20 countries whose age is between 18 and 28 years old should compete on the coming 11th October in Lomé.
Candidates from Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, tCentral Republic of Africa, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Niger, Chad, Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, Mauritius Island and Togo are expected in this competition.
Grace Eunice Adjovi Atsu is the candidate standing for Togo this year.
According to promoters, Miss Beauty Africa competition is the evening that crown an ambassadress of African Beauty that works during one year for the triumph of Peace and Development in Africa.
« It is also and above all the opportunity to show the diversity of African culture and demonstrate that Africa is a haven of peace, tourism and investment« , declared Frédérick Tsatsu, national manager and chairman of the steering committee of Miss Beauty Lomé 2014.
Making the assessment of the mandate of the outgoing Miss, Mr. Tsatsu indicated in these terms: « Miss Hantz represented her country and Africa in several international fashion, beauty and sensitization events on her theme, Peace and development in Africa« .
