Ivory Coast: inauguration of the first digital classroom

As Africa Top Success announced it earlier, the Ivorian government made a commitment to make of e-education, a reality in Ivory Coast. The Ivorian Minister of Education and Technical training, Kandia Kamissoko Camara, proceeded on Tuesday, 11th November 2014, to the launching of the first digital classroom of Ivory Coast. This new infrastructure that built in the grammar school of Abidjan, will improve the performance of the profitable pupils.

The Ivorian government in association with Samsung, offered to the grammar school of Abidjan, the first digital classroom of the country. Equipped with computing installations, the room is connected to Internet via satellite.

« This digital classroom program offers a decent learning environment to children for digital technology. This platform will contribute to improve education of children in distance parts of the country« , indicated the Managing director of Samsung, Olivier Aboa.

For his part, the Ivorian Minister of Education declared that digital classes participate in the Emergence project of the Ivorian State. « With this class E-Education concept becomes a reality for all localities, constituting thus a real tool for emergence« , specified Pierre Kouamé.
