The Beninese authorities in charge of culture start an internationalization process of the music of the country. According to a source closer to the Beninese Ministry of Culture, Craft Industry, Illiteracy Elimination and Tourism, the first International Music Festival of Benin will be held before the end of the first half of the year 2015.
According to the same source relayed by the Chinese agency, Xinhua, the new festival will help to the creation of a big market of music and disk in Benin in order to position the country on the African and the world musical cultural heritage platform.
« This festival is a great meeting of exchanges during which several national and international artists will make show in front of a public mainly made of professionals of arts and culture« , specified the source.
As a reminder, Benin organized in September 2014, the very first edition of the Best Instrumentalists Festival of Africa.
