Present at the fair organized in the Village of the Francophony, NETYX the promoter of the « calculator 28 » intends to show his contraception to the whole world. Available in two versions, the calculator 28 (C28) is « an innovative, reliable, universal and easy for use that allows to calculate and to plan the monthly cycle » according to Paul Franck Indjendjet Gondjout, the boss of Netyx.
In Africa, this simple and efficient contraceptive mode could help the millions of women who do not necessarily master their menstrual cycle. They can so avoid unwanted pregnancies and sometimes be safe from disastrous consequences of voluntary terminations of pregnancy (VTOP).
In Gabon, native country of the inventor of the C28, 15 % of women once at least practiced abortion.
« With regard to the significant number of already existing contraceptive methods, with regard to the context in which the African populations evolve at present, NETYX has given contraceptive methods well adapted to the African context provided with a simple and intuitive use« , what can be read on the site of the company.
While awaiting a popularization of C28 in all Africa, the product is already available in Gabon, Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso.
